One Year Limited Warranty

Our design, materials and workmanship produce a product to withstand the test of time. In addition, no maintenance is required that a nice rain won’t cure. Our warranty policy is as follows:

Steel Frames – one year warranty against flaws in workmanship.

Shadecloth Canopy – one year warranty against flaws in workmanship; five years against fading, rotting, UV deterioration for all colors except red; three years for red.

Paint on steel frames – One year against fading, cracking or peeling.

Limitations to warranty:

To file a warranty claim, the owner should send in writing an explanation of the defect to:

Included should be a copy of the original invoice and warranty as well as a photograph showing the damage or a sample of the fabric if applicable. We will respond within 48 hours.

We will determine if the damaged item should be returned to our facility for repair or if we will just replace the item without return. If an item must be returned, the owner shall pay shipping to our facility and we will pay shipping for the shipment back to the customer.

Legal Notice
Vela Canopies shall not be responsible for any errors in installation as performed by the buyer or the buyer's agent. If you plan on using an independent installation company, we recommend that you wait until you receive the product before scheduling the installation. Many installers will charge additional fees for multiple trips to the installation site.

Color Variations
Electronically reproduced color across the Internet is difficult and may result in slight differences between the colors displayed on your computer and the color of the materials physically delivered. As a consequence, we can not guarantee that the colors you see on your computer monitor will be an exact representation of the product colors you will receive. We will be happy to mail a set of cloth samples and a steel powder coat color chart upon request.

All photos, product renderings, and drawings are property of Vela Canopies and are for representation of the product as the actual product may vary due to changes in the manufacturing.  Vela Canopies reserves the right to change the product at any time and without notice due to innovations in design and manufacturing.
